“The Directors’ Chair” 2024
This publication is part of a series titled ‘The Directors’ Chair’, with each issue featuring a deep dive on our favourite directors. This issue, focusing on Sofia Coppola, utilises a collage/diary design style which speaks to the theme of girlhood and coming of age that are often the focus of Coppola’s films. The publication includes details of Coppola’s early life, her awards and achievements and an activity section inspired by sticker dress up dolls, featuring iconic costumes from her films.
This publication titled ‘Juna’ is an original design style which is loosely based on Frankie Magazine. It features articles about music and dancing, recipes and travel and includes my own original photography.
“JUNA” 2025
These spreads were part of a collaborative publication titled ‘Totally Normal’, comprised of spreads that explore the idea of what normal is. ‘Lunch’ explores a normal day for a normal guy, well, his definition of normal at least. It highlights the differences of what normal is and how sometimes it can be extraordinary.
“LUNCH” 2024
These original editorial composite illustrations are inspired by David Lynch, and were created to accompany Justin Chen’s New Yorker Magazine article “Mourning David Lynch in a City on Fire” (published Feb. 2025). The illustrations highlight lynch’s popular motifs branching out of his mind, highlighting his unique cinema style, which is a large focus of the article. This spread was redesigned to fit into Rolling Stone Magazine’s style guide.
